Taking inspiration from Chester County building forms and materials, the faux barn ruin, pergola, and shed-style cabana building form a new pool complex. The ruin’s fieldstone wall provides privacy from the adjacent driveway and serves as a backdrop for entertaining. Rolling barn doors and a side Dutch door open the pool house for events. A stone chimney vents the pool heating equipment. The surrounding terrace has pockets of flagstone removed to accommodate small garden beds.
